The Dooryard Gallery--Alaina Burnett

Alaina Burnett ’s love for gems, minerals, and fossils began when she was a child. She has been collecting them for most
of her life and ultimately found an outlet for her fascination by creating jewelry. Alaina has been developing her skills and
distinctive style for the past fifteen years. She is most inspired by the natural gemstones, fossils, and precious metals
she uses in her work, but her love for nature and ancient history always find their way into her designs. Alaina’s jewelry
was featured in the January, 2010 issue of “BeadStyle Magazine.” Likewise, an article she has written on design will
appear in the August, 2010 issue of the magazine “Bead & Button.” Passing on the love and enthusiasm Alaina has for
jewelry to her customers is something she cherishes. She firmly believes that nothing could ever replace the joy of
creating her bold and sophisticated jewelry and seeing it bring happiness to the people who wear it. Jewelry making is a
passion that Alaina knows she will carry with her for the rest of her life.
